Phase 2 Application / Guidelines

• Approval of the Phase 1 does not mean that the Phase 2 application will be automatically accepted.

• Phase 2 requires the completion of a more detailed application which includes the questionnaire to be used, appropriate covering letters, and details on costs and administration of the study.

• Please read the applications guidelines before completion, the application forms must be submitted 4 weeks before the date of a BPSU Executive.
  
• For advice about involving the public in your study please click here. 

• You may be required to attend the Executive to present your application.

• If the study is approved you will need MREC approval. Visit the National Research Ethics Service site for the appropriate paperwork.

• If the study is approved you will also need NIGB approval. The BPSU has developed with NIGB submission forms for BPSU approved studies. If you wish to access these now please click here. Alternatively you can use the IRAS on-line system.
